Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Bohdan Kruchak, who operates Palavra (palavra.space). By creating an account or using Palavra you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16, or use Palavra with the involvement of a parent, guardian or teacher. Give accurate information and keep your Google account secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to Palavra: words, notes, recordings, files and messages. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you choose to share it with (for example your teacher or class). You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload harmful, abusive or illegal content.
• Do not try to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, or get around plan limits or security measures.
• Do not use automated means to scrape or overload Palavra, or resell it without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

AI features

Translations, explanations, corrections and other AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Use them as learning help, not as authoritative advice, and check anything important.

Plans and payments

The core of Palavra is free. Paid plans add AI usage and other features, as described on the pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices include VAT where it applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which ends once you have started using the paid features with your consent. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Palavra available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut the service down we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using Palavra and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date on this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Palavra after that means you accept the new terms.
